WASLA offers a range of Professional Learning opportunities to members. These opportunities include (but are not limited to):
- Birds of a Feather – Short presentations from a range of speakers from across the library and information sector
- Short half day conferences featuring information and library specialists including keynote speeches and break out sessions
- WASLA Awards recognising outstanding achievement in Western Australian School Libraries
- Professional Development for all school library staff
- Professional Development in conjunction with the Department of DoE, AISWA Libraries and the State Library of Western Australia
- Annual General Meeting (AGM) with keynote speakers.
